Hello!  I’m Sandy Krzyzanowski! (Sandy “K” will do!)

In addition to Hatha Yoga in the Vinyasa style, Better Day Yoga also offers Private Consultations/Therapeutic Yoga one-on-one, Meditation/Breathwork classes for focus, clarity, stress-relief and mindfulness, as well as Facial Exercise classes to turn back the hands of time and add muscle tone and a fresh glow to your complexion.

On-Site Corporate programs are also available. For those looking to make a change, there is also the YogaLean 12-week Transformation Workshop to lose weight and gain vitality, declutter both physically and mentally, and learn to meditate for greater serenity!

I’ve practiced Yoga for over 20 years & taught for eight years in studio, corporate, & high school settings. I’m an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200, RYT 500®), a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), a 100-hour YogaFit® Warrior Program graduate (designed to address the stressors & traumas that are unique to our military community), an A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer and Healthy Eating and Weight Loss Coach and a Reiki practitioner.

FYI:  In February 2016, the Yoga Alliance (where my “Registered Yoga Teacher/RYT” designations come from) has asked that any reference to yoga “therapy” training include a disclaimer explaining the source of the therapy training. All of my yoga therapy training comes from the 1000-hour yoga therapy program being offered by YogaFit®.

Other certifications include the A.C.E.® personal trainer certification (since 1997); Canfitpro Healthy Eating & Weight Loss Coach; Heartsaver® AED through the American Heart Assoc., as well as a achieved degrees 1-3 in the  Oshune Reiki® method of Energetic Healing.  Professional memberships include the IDEA Health & Fitness Assoc., Medical Fitness Network, and the International Assoc. of Yoga Therapists.

I’ve been a guest speaker on topics including the health and stress-relief benefits of Yoga and meditation, a columnist for Yogamint, co-blogger on Prana Pages blog (no longer publishing), contributor to “the bloated belly” food blog, as well as  Whispers of Spirit online magazine (no longer publishing), as well as write my own newsletter.

I offer modifications for all levels in a safe, non-competitive environment and strive to communicate the YogaFit® Essence:  “Breathing, Feeling, Listening to the body, Letting go of Competition, Judgment, and Expectations.  Staying present in the moment.”  I consider each and every one of my students a blessing in my life; and am committed to learn, grow, and teach with a positive intent and positive energy.  Thank you for your interest in Better Day Yoga, LLC!
