Privacy Policy

By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed as your acceptance of those changes.

Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Better Day Yoga website. On some pages, you can order products or services, make requests, and register to receive information. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

  • Name
  • Address
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number (rarely)

How We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive our newsletter as well as updates on our new products and services.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. I use Sumo.com to gather my emails for my newsletter/blog. They have assured me they are making Sumo GDPR-compliant!

Other emails are collected when I exhibit at local Minnesota conferences (like the Women Veterans Conference in Minnesota) and you fill out the form asking to either subscribe to my newsletter or to receive further information. If you are a student or client, I gather your emails as part of my student waiver agreement required by my liability insurance company. You provide your contact information there as well as your emergency contact information.

Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

How Long is the Data Stored?

I keep the data stored as long as I have a relationship with you as a customer, client or interested party; or until you unsubscribe via the “opt-out” option supplied by Sumo.com at the bottom of my emails in the blue box.

How to Access or Correct Your Information
