Hatha yoga lowers risk for them all! People who practiced yoga regularly had lower blood levels of interlukin-6, a component of the body’s inflammatory response that contributes to heart disease, stroke, arthritis & type 2 diabetes. People who practiced one to two times a week for at least two years and at least twice a week for the last year had lower inflammatory responses to stress.
